Welcome to

Spain

The route overview
Aupa and bon dia. The linguistic deviations found on this trip tell you everything there is to know about the mystique and fiercely independent lands through we’ll travel on this tour. It’s an epic coast to coast adventure fuelled by sun, food to die for, and arguably the most vibrant hive of alternative and eco initiatives found anywhere in Europe.

It's not graded among or most challenging tours for nothing; the Pyrenees are home to many professional cyclists who dart up and down as part of their training. We take it a bit more steadily, stopping to cool off in the lakes that feature abundantly along our route. This is definitely the tour for the real adventurers among you, and off the bike you'll meet the new radicals doing their thing and sharing their stories of life a little closer to the land.

Get inspired by tales from the road...

When out on a bike it’s important to keep fed and watered, as Omar Lababedi reminds us in his tale of near collapse ahead of the last mountain.

Blinking the sweat out of my eyes, I glance up ahead, willing the summit to be in sight. Bad idea. On the hardest day yet, after two hours of uphill cycling (up-mountain, through the Pyrenees, to be exact) the end is nowhere in sight. The enormous vultures circling ove...
